Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, met with Mr. Lars Løkke, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, on Friday, February 14, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Minister Abdel Aati stressed the keenness to follow up on the implementation of the outcomes of the state visit conducted by His Excellency the President of the Republic to Denmark in December 2024, which witnessed the elevation of relations to the level of strategic partnership. He explained the importance of implementing all axes of this partnership, especially advancing economic relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of transportation, clean energy and green fuel, in addition to coordination between the two countries within the framework of international forums in light of the start of Denmark's non-permanent membership in the Security Council last January, as well as the rotating presidency of the European Union next July.

Minister Abdel-Ati discussed the latest developments regarding the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and the access of humanitarian aid in light of the deteriorating conditions in the Strip, where he stressed Egypt's intention to present a comprehensive vision for the reconstruction of Gaza in a way that ensures the survival of the Palestinian people on their land.
